The Chicago Cubs defeat the Minnesota Twins 8-0 at Target Field in Minnesota. Cubs hurler Jake Arrieta pitches a 4-hit complete game shutout. Cubs slugers Anthony Rizzo homers and Dexter Fowler hits a grand slam.
