Former Chicago Cubs outfielder Dwight Smith has died at age 58.
Dwight Smith was perhaps the most joyful surprise of the 1989 Boys of Zimmer Cubs. He redefined the concept of a two-way player: Rookie of the Year runner-up/national anthem singer.
Smith was on the Braves 1995 World Series Championship team.
