Starting pitcher Jon Lester took the mound today seeking his third win in a row. He pitched seven innings gave up four hits, two solo shots and struck out four. He had command of his game tonight. Anthony Rizzo got the party started with solo shot deep in the outfield. That was Rizzo twenty fifth home run of the year. Not to be out done by his team Captain. Kyle Schwarber helped the Cubs secure the Crosstown Cup with an offensive explosion. He went three for four with four RBI on the south side tonight. He crushed two mammoth shots to the bleachers and the Cubs never looked back. The National League Central leaders have won eleven of the last thirteen games and have a three game winning streak going.
